The cooler weather kept the park paths a little lighter than normal, but thanks to the neighbors who stopped at my "Popsicles in the Park" meet and greet. We weren't feeling the hot summer nights, so the popsicles were thankfully not a melty mess. The conversations with people were warm and genuine. People have a lot of great things to say about our city, but also have many questions and ideas about everything from chickens and land development to deer management and road conditions.
