The past couple weeks have been short on sleep for me, but I have been energized talking to my Apple Valley neighbors and families as I am out knocking doors. Whether the person just moved here a month ago, or has literally lived in Apple Valley (or Lebanon) all their life, people enjoy living and doing business in Apple Valley where they appreciate the great quality of life, our fabulous parks, our schools, and our community.
Honestly, with 2024 being a Presidential election year and some of the negativity swirling around, I initially had some concerns about door knocking for my city council campaign. I am pleased to report that (all but one) of the Apple Valley residents that I have met over the past many weeks have been warm, welcoming, and willing to put "politics" aside and talk local - about what they love about our Apple Valley community and how we can work together to continue to make improvements for the future.
With many people early voting, and less than a month before Election Day on November 5, I welcome your vote and support for Apple Valley City Council. It's not too late to join one of my door knocking dates (no experience needed), to request a sign, invite me to a group or organization meeting, or even donate to my campaign. I am going to be door knocking every Saturday and Sunday, so don't hesitate to stop me if you see me in your neighborhood - or come join the fun. See you on the campaign trail soon!
